MIAM! Distribution has unveiled three new additions to its animated content portfolio at the Unifrance Rendez-Vous industry gathering. The French distributor acquired two animated television series and one 52-minute television special, reinforcing its focus on programming that amplifies unique creative perspectives and authentic storytelling from independent producers.
The newly acquired titles include “Sevens,” a 13-episode children’s series inspired by the life of French rugby player Séraphine Okemba that centers on female athletes forming a school rugby team; “Queerstory,” a documentary series exploring queer narratives from mythology and history; and “Dad & Me,” a coming-of-age special following a young girl’s journey integrating into French culture after immigrating from Russia. MIAM! Distribution simultaneously announced collaborative partnerships with four independent French production companies: Have a Nice Day Films, Les Astronautes, Hauteville Productions, and Girelle Production.
