The festival’s bill extends well beyond the Fugees reunion, with performances scheduled from rock icon Lenny Kravitz, R&B artist John Legend, country star Lainey Wilson, rising rapper Shaboozey, and K-pop group Tomorrow x Together. Actor Hugh Jackman will host the event, joined by fellow celebrities Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King in various capacities throughout the day.
This year’s Global Citizen Festival aims to advance several humanitarian causes, including increasing school enrollment worldwide, supporting agricultural communities, and expanding access to electricity in underserved regions. Attendees can obtain tickets through a lottery system or by making a $25 charitable contribution, which provides immediate entry to the concert.
