Actor Keanu Reeves took the stage at The Tonight Show alongside his rock band Dogstar to perform “Joy,” a track from their latest studio effort. The musical group, which also features bassist Bret Domrose and drummer Robert Mailhouse, delivered a contemplative version of the song during the late-night television appearance.
The performance comes following the May release of All in Now, Dogstar’s fourth album overall. The record marks the band’s second full-length project since reforming in 2023, nearly two decades after their initial breakup in 2002. Working alongside producer Nick Launay, the reunited group channeled their enthusiasm into the creative process, with Reeves expressing genuine excitement about collaborating with his bandmates in the studio.
Despite maintaining his primary focus on acting, Reeves has remained committed to Dogstar’s musical endeavors. He previously highlighted the unique appeal of in-person album creation, emphasizing the value of shared creative experiences within a studio setting. The band is currently on a North American tour promoting All in Now, with dates scheduled through early September across multiple cities.
