Nintendo has opened preorders for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2, set to launch November 5. The game features modernized graphics, improved camera controls, and a new dedicated jump button based on recently shared gameplay footage from a Nintendo Direct presentation.
Players can purchase the game digitally for $59.99 or physically for $69.99. However, significant savings are available at major retailers this week. Amazon and Walmart are both offering the physical version for $59.88 as of September 10, representing a discount of over $10. These discounted prices were not being matched by Best Buy, Target, GameStop, or the official Nintendo Store at the time of reporting.
The physical edition includes special packaging with textured foil cover art as part of Nintendo’s first print run. Industry observers recommend completing preorders promptly to secure copies before initial stock depletes. As part of the franchise’s 40th anniversary celebration, Nintendo is also releasing themed hardware including a special Switch 2 console, Pro Controller, and carrying case launching October 29.
