Nice as Fuck, a supergroup comprised of Jenny Lewis, Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Spring, and the Like’s Tennessee Thomas, is reuniting this fall for a tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. The group has also announced a reissue of the record, which is currently available for preorder.
The tour will launch in Pasadena, California on October 16 and conclude in Brooklyn just before Halloween, with DJ Alix Brown accompanying the group throughout the dates. Fans can find ticketing information through BandIsInTown for shows spanning major cities including San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
Nice as Fuck’s sole album features nine tracks with politically charged messaging and accessible melodies. The supergroup’s initial run consisted of less than 24 performances in 2016, emerging unexpectedly rather than through traditional band formation methods. When asked about the project’s longevity at the time, members expressed openness to future developments while acknowledging the spontaneous nature of their collaboration.
