Noise has entered the open-ear audio market with its Master Buds Open, unveiled at IFA Berlin 2026. The device represents the Indian lifestyle brand’s first foray into clip-on ear audio, featuring a design that rests around the outer ear rather than inserting into the ear canal. This approach allows users to enjoy music and take calls while maintaining awareness of their surroundings, from traffic sounds to office conversations.
To address a common weakness in open-ear technology—thin sound quality due to lack of a sealed fit—Noise partnered with audio specialist Bose to develop the acoustic profile. The collaboration ensures the Master Buds Open deliver clean, balanced audio performance without completely isolating the wearer from ambient noise. According to Noise cofounder Amit Khatri, the product reflects growing global demand for audio solutions that balance sound quality with environmental awareness.
The Master Buds Open complete Noise’s Master Series lineup, which now spans traditional in-ear buds, over-ear headphones, and these new clip-on models. The earbuds are designed for professionals and active individuals who frequently transition between work calls, music streaming, and face-to-face interactions throughout the day. The devices will become available in late September 2026, with complete specifications and pricing details to be announced closer to the release date.
