Pop star Katy Perry recently opened up about her romantic life in a new interview, revealing that she has found “the love of her life” in former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The singer discussed how her Lifetimes Tour, which launched in April 2025, became a turning point following her highly publicized split from fiancé Orlando Bloom.
Perry explained that the past year presented significant challenges, but the extensive tour helped her rediscover her sense of purpose. According to the singer, she encountered Trudeau while on the road and credits the experience with bringing meaningful change to her personal life. She emphasized that despite criticism from some observers, she has chosen to live authentically and pursue happiness on her own terms.
The breakup with Bloom occurred while Perry was performing in Australia last July, a period she described as emotionally difficult. However, she noted that supportive friends and family helped her navigate the transition. Perry shared that she had previously created a manifestation list that included finding true love, which she believes has now materialized through her relationship with Trudeau, who has attended several of her concerts and shown enthusiasm for her work.
Perry’s Lifetimes Tour spanned 91 dates across 23 countries and five continents over seven years. A concert film documenting performances from Paris recently premiered in theaters, directed by Paul Dugdale and featuring an extensive 25-song setlist captured by 60 cameras.
