Colman Domingo has been selected to serve as master of ceremonies for the fifth annual Caring for Women Dinner, scheduled for September 10 at The Pool in New York City. The acclaimed performer, who has garnered two Academy Award nominations throughout his career as an actor, writer, director and producer, will guide attendees through the evening’s proceedings. Paris Hilton will provide entertainment for the after-party celebration.
The gala brings together prominent figures from fashion, entertainment, sports and philanthropy to support organizations dedicated to combating gender-based violence. Co-hosts for the event include Salma Hayek Pinault, François-Henri Pinault, Pamela Anderson, Simone Biles, Benicio Del Toro, Nacho Figueras, Dakota Johnson and Lorna Simpson. This year’s charitable partners are Activating Change, Fondo Semillas, JBWS and The New York Women’s Foundation.
The evening will showcase performances and a live auction featuring luxury items and experiences from prestigious fashion houses under the Kering umbrella, such as Gucci, Saint Laurent and Balenciaga. Additionally, an online silent auction will be available to the general public following the dinner. The previous edition generated over $4.5 million in contributions, underscoring the event’s significant fundraising impact for the Kering Foundation’s mission to end violence against women and children.
