The popular web series “Jet Lag: The Game” is expanding beyond its digital platform with a theatrical screening of its Season 19 finale scheduled for October 3rd. The event will take place across multiple cinema chains owned by Cineworld, including Regal locations throughout the United States and both Picturehouse and Cineworld venues across the United Kingdom. Ticket sales are set to begin on September 8th.
This theatrical release follows the successful premiere of Season 19, which aired at Picturehouse Cinemas in London this past August. The current season, titled “Japanorama,” features a competition set in Japan among creators Sam Denby, Ben Doyle, Adam Chase, and guest star Tom Scott. The show, produced by indie streaming platform Nebula, has developed a dedicated fan base through its previous 18 seasons, which have taken viewers on adventures across Japan, New Zealand, Europe, Australia, and North America.
The partnership between Nebula and Regal Global Entertainment marks an expanding collaboration between the independent streamer and the Cineworld-owned cinema chain. Jack Grimes, senior director of alternative business development for Regal, emphasized the company’s interest in responding to audience demand, noting the strong reception the series received at its earlier theatrical showing. Nebula founder Dave Wiskus highlighted the communal appeal of the program, stating that experiencing the show collectively in theaters creates a unique connection among viewers.
Beyond the “Jet Lag” finale, Nebula’s partnership with Regal includes theatrical releases for the short film “Power Trip,” which will receive Oscar-qualifying screenings beginning in late September.
