Grand Theft Auto VI launches this November, and prospective players face a choice between two editions. The standard version costs $79.99, while the premium tier is priced at $100, offering substantially more content for the additional $20 investment.
The upgraded version grants access to five exclusive retail locations where players can customize their characters and vehicles. Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Rideout Customs, Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor, and One-Eyed Willie’s provide unique cosmetic options unavailable in the base game. Players also receive two outfit collections—Vice City Styles and Goodtime Gear—plus three special vehicles: a 1995 Grotti Cheetah sports car, a Shitzu Squalo boat, and a 1967 Vapid Dominator off-road buggy. The weapon arsenal expands with Hawk and Morgan revolvers, and protagonists Jason and Lucia’s pistols feature custom engravings.
Beyond cosmetics, the Ultimate Edition unlocks exclusive missions. Players can raid the PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store compound or pursue the Classic Car Collection, which involves locating and restoring abandoned vehicles. Pre-order bonuses include the Vice City Vintage cosmetic pack and one complimentary month of GTA+, a membership service offering in-game currency, discounted purchases, and access to classic Rockstar titles.
Whether the $20 premium justifies these additions depends on individual preferences, though the bundle offers notably more than typical deluxe editions across the gaming industry.
