Creative producer Celeste Parr and her production company Punctuation Media have secured representation with CAA, marking a significant expansion for the Toronto-based outfit. The partnership comes as Parr continues building momentum in the entertainment industry through multiple high-profile projects across film and television.
Parr’s recent accomplishments include writing and overseeing the third season of CBC’s drama series “Plan B,” work that earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination for best drama series in 2026. She has also developed “Prejudice,” an upcoming legal drama that will feature actress Emily VanCamp and is being produced by Neshama Entertainment in collaboration with Bell Media and Fox Entertainment.
Punctuation Media, which Parr co-founded in 2024 alongside media executive Oliver Kane, has already established itself through a first-look deal with Bell Media and Blink49 Studios. The company launched with the romantic thriller “We Never Happened,” the first installment in a collection of internationally-focused scripted content. Looking ahead, Parr is preparing to direct her second feature film, “Ethel,” which will star Sarah Paulson and Shira Haas and begins production in 2027. The film follows a 1940s musical prodigy challenging gender barriers to lead a women’s symphony orchestra.
