Dreame has unveiled its latest autonomous lawn mower model at IFA, one of the world’s premier technology conferences. The Dreame A4 AWD Pro Series, arriving in the first half of 2027, introduces innovative features designed to streamline yard maintenance. The device represents the company’s expansion into the growing robotic lawn mower market, building on its reputation for quality home automation products.
The standout feature of this new model is the EdgeMaster 4.0 Precision Edge-Trimming System, which incorporates a swing arm that extends the cutting blade when the device detects nearby boundaries. This capability allows for zero-centimeter edge cutting while maintaining safe distances from walls, fences, and flower beds. Additionally, the mower can navigate steep slopes up to 42 degrees and traverse uneven terrain, including divots up to six inches wide and four inches deep.
Navigation and safety rely on sophisticated technology including 360-degree 3D LiDAR, satellite-based RTK positioning, and artificial intelligence-powered binocular vision. An infrared sensor enhances safety by detecting people and pets in the mower’s path. Dreame will offer two versions of the A4 AWD Pro upon launch, accommodating yards ranging from approximately one acre to 1.2 acres. The starting price converts to roughly $3,500, though regional pricing may vary.
