Popular YouTube series Chicken Shop Date will conclude after one final season, creator Amelia Dimoldenberg announced Thursday. The show, which has amassed millions of views since its 2014 launch, has become a cornerstone of online entertainment alongside similar series like Hot Ones.
Dimoldenberg shared her decision via Instagram, expressing gratitude to viewers who have followed her journey over the years. She reflected on spending her twenties interviewing notable guests across dining tables in chicken shops, describing the experience as her personal romantic comedy. The creator emphasized that while the show will always hold significance to her, she feels ready to pursue new creative endeavors.
Before the series ends completely, Dimoldenberg plans to produce a handful of final episodes to celebrate the show’s legacy. Meanwhile, the creator has already begun expanding her portfolio, having launched an F1-themed web series last year. Additionally, she is set to star in and produce a romantic comedy for Amazon MGM Studios’ Orion Pictures, featuring a journalist character who conducts celebrity interviews.
