A major music festival honoring the life and career of country music icon Dolly Parton has been announced. Dollyfest: The Celebration of a Lifetime will take place across two weekends in 2027, with events scheduled for both Nashville and London. The festival is being organized by Parton’s estate and aims to commemorate her remarkable six-decade career in the music industry.
The festival was originally conceived as a birthday celebration planned for January of this year, which would have featured a performance by Parton herself on her 80th birthday. However, health challenges that emerged in late summer 2025 led to significant changes in Parton’s schedule, including the postponement of performances in Las Vegas. Following Parton’s death in August, organizers decided to reimagine the event as a broader tribute to her enduring legacy.
Danny Nozell, CEO of CTK Enterprises, expressed that delaying the festival allows time for grieving while maintaining Parton’s original vision. “This is something that is authentic to her, something that feels right to me, and something that artists and fans around the world can participate in,” Nozell stated. Specific dates and musical lineup details for Dollyfest have not yet been released to the public.
