Stephen Kalyn has been cast in Lionsgate’s upcoming film “The Housemaid’s Secret,” marking a significant career advancement for the actor who gained recognition through his breakout role in “Off Campus.” Kalyn will join an ensemble cast that includes Sydney Sweeney, Kristen Dunst, Michele Morrone, and Paul Anthony Kelly in this sequel to 2025’s successful “The Housemaid.”
In the film, Kalyn will portray Brock, the lawyer boyfriend of Sweeney’s character Millie, who remains unaware of her criminal background. The story, based on Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel, follows Millie as she takes a new position caring for a mysterious woman she is forbidden to see, uncovering secrets that prove more troubling than her own.
Director Paul Feig returns to helm the project, with production beginning later this year and a theatrical release scheduled for December 17, 2027. Despite his new commitment, Kalyn continues his role in “Off Campus,” where he plays Dean Di Laurentis and will be featured prominently in the upcoming second season alongside co-star Mika Abdalla.
