Netflix has partnered with prominent travel content creator Drew Binsky, expanding the streaming giant’s roster of YouTube personalities. Starting September 19, Netflix subscribers worldwide will gain access to a curated selection of Binsky’s travel episodes, including his recent production exploring the world’s narrowest island. Moving forward, Binsky will simultaneously release new content across Netflix, YouTube, and other platforms.
Binsky has established himself as one of the most successful independent travel media producers online, amassing 7.3 million YouTube subscribers and 22 million followers across all digital platforms. His content generates over 200 million monthly views. The creator gained international recognition for completing visits to all 197 UN-recognized countries by 2021, a journey documented in his 2024 book “Just Go.” He also holds two Guinness World Records related to UNESCO World Heritage Sites and suitcase packing speed.
This deal reflects Netflix’s broader strategy of securing exclusive content partnerships with established YouTube creators. The streaming platform recently signed similar agreements with comedians Kevin Langue and has commissioned original programming from YouTubers Mark Rober and Alan Chikin Chow. Binsky expressed enthusiasm about reaching Netflix’s global audience, stating his mission to demonstrate that the world is more welcoming than media headlines suggest and to inspire travel among viewers.
