AMC+ has unveiled promotional material for the fourth and final season of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,” with the conclusion set to premiere in 2027. The spinoff series, which launched in 2023, will mark the end of Daryl’s story that began over a decade ago in 2010 with the original “Walking Dead” franchise.
The upcoming season will see protagonist Daryl and fellow character Carol venture through the Spanish badlands, accompanied by Captain Alejandro Perkins, portrayed by Jimmy Smits. Perkins is described as a former U.S. Navy officer and medical professional who has developed an unconventional survival strategy during the apocalyptic setting. The cast also includes additional international talent, expanding the show’s ensemble.
The series continues to be helmed by showrunner David Zabel alongside a robust production team including executive producers Scott M. Gimple, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, and Greg Nicotero. Since the original “Walking Dead” concluded in 2022 after an 11-season run, spinoff productions including “The Walking Dead: Dead City” have sustained the franchise’s presence on screens.
