Meta and Best Buy have partnered to establish specialized demo zones at select retail locations nationwide, allowing consumers to experience the technology company’s latest wearable and virtual reality offerings firsthand. These “Meta Lab” installations showcase a range of products including the Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta smart glasses, the Meta Ray-Ban Display model, and the Meta Quest VR headset lineup.
Shoppers visiting participating Best Buy stores can interact with the devices through hands-on demonstrations and immersive activations. The Ray-Ban Display glasses enable users to view information displayed directly on the lenses and navigate using hand gestures, while the Quest headsets let customers experience gaming, fitness, and entertainment in three-dimensional environments with high-quality graphics.
Meta specialists are present at each location to highlight enhanced features now available on the smart glasses, including improved audio quality, live translation capabilities, and video recording functionality. Sales representatives also assist customers in selecting frames that match their personal preferences and facial features.
The initiative began in June, with the company planning to expand to over 50 locations across the United States and Canada by year’s end. This retail partnership represents Meta’s effort to bring its emerging product ecosystem closer to mainstream consumers through direct in-store engagement.
