“Survivor” continues its expansion with the unveiling of 21 new competitors for the upcoming season. CBS announced the fresh group of castaways through a livestream event on Wednesday, marking the beginning of what the network is calling “The Open Era” for the long-running reality competition show.
The diverse cast spans ages 24 to 49 and represents contestants from across North America, including participants from the United States, Canada, and Ireland. The group features an eclectic mix of professional backgrounds, ranging from entertainment industry veterans to everyday workers. Notable cast members include Devin Way, recognized for television appearances on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Queer as Folk”; Ana Sani, a voice performer known for voicing Strawberry Shortcake and appearing in “The Boys”; Brady Booker, a former professional wrestler; and Mike Pinsky, an executive with the New York Yankees.
Beyond these recognizable names, the remaining competitors bring varied expertise to the island. The cast includes professionals such as a criminal defense attorney, medical student, sociology professor, game designer, wedding photographer, and federal prosecutor, along with individuals working in agriculture, sports management, and mental health services.
