Joseph Marchese has taken on a new role as executive vice president of creator strategy and business at Bent Pixels, marking a significant leadership move within the creator media landscape. The appointment comes as Bent Pixels expands its suite of services aimed at digital content creators and their brand partners navigating the attention economy.
Marchese brings over a decade of experience in the creator space, having spent 12 years at Studio71 where he advanced through various senior positions focused on talent relations and partnerships. During his tenure, he helped establish Studio71’s reputation for managing distribution and advertising representation for prominent digital-native personalities.
The hire reflects Bent Pixels’ aggressive growth strategy. The Los Angeles-based firm, which launched in 2009, recently acquired Sunny State Agency in March to strengthen its distribution capabilities. Today, Bent Pixels represents more than 850 creators with combined reach across multiple platforms including YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram, while reporting 50.2 million monthly unique visitors and 1.2 billion content viewing minutes on connected TV streaming services.
According to founder and CEO Mike Pusateri, Marchese’s deep understanding of creator ecosystems and brand partnerships positions him to unlock new opportunities for both creators and their commercial partners. Marchese expressed enthusiasm about joining during what he described as a pivotal moment for the creator economy.
