The cast for “Dancing With the Stars” Season 35 has been unveiled, featuring a diverse group of entertainers, athletes and reality television personalities. The announcement came Wednesday morning on “Good Morning America,” introducing the celebrity and professional dancer pairings for the Emmy-nominated competition.
Notable celebrities joining the season include actress Julia Stiles, musician Taylor Hanson and reality star Tyler Cameron. The cast also features performers with significant dance experience, including Jenna Dewan, who began her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson and later hosted dance-focused television programs, and Harry Shum Jr., who has performed as a backup dancer for major artists including Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez.
On the professional side, several returning dancers will participate this season. Witney Carson, last year’s winner, will return to compete while pregnant with her partner Guillermo Rodriguez. Sharna Burgess makes a significant comeback after an absence since 2011, rejoining the show for the first time in over a decade. New professional additions include Hailey Bills and Adele Zaikman, the latter of whom won “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro.”
The two-night season premiere is scheduled to air Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, on ABC and Disney+.
