Christopher Nolan’s epic adventure “The Odyssey,” released by Universal, held steady in second place throughout its seventh week in theaters. Sony’s horror entry “Insidious: Out of the Further” claimed third position in its second week of release, collecting $1.8 million and raising its total to $6.6 million.

Meanwhile, specialized releases continued to draw audiences, with Mubi’s “Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma” demonstrating strong audience retention in its second weekend, generating nearly $250,000 across the extended bank holiday weekend.
