Country music artist Rosanne Cash has announced the postponement of her next three scheduled performances due to an unexpected medical situation. According to a statement released by her management team on Monday, Cash is currently recuperating under medical supervision following doctors’ orders to temporarily halt travel and performance activities. The cancellations impact her Wyoming and Montana concert dates.
Cash expressed her disappointment regarding the postponements and indicated her intention to reschedule the affected performances at a later date. While specific details about the nature of the medical emergency were not disclosed by her representatives, the recovery period appears to be relatively brief. The artist is expected to resume touring on September 19 with a scheduled performance in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Despite the near-term cancellations, Cash’s touring schedule remains robust for the coming months. She has European dates planned for October and additional performances scheduled for California in January. Just days before the announcement, Cash successfully participated in a farewell concert featuring Judy Collins in Massachusetts on August 30, suggesting the medical situation developed unexpectedly in the intervening period.
