The Binghamton Rumble Ponies have announced a leadership change in their front office. Diamond Baseball Holdings, the organization’s ownership group, promoted David “Peterman” Peterson to the position of General Manager on Thursday, according to a team statement.
Peterson arrives at the role with extensive experience in professional and collegiate baseball spanning 19 seasons. Most notably, he spent 11 years leading the Worcester Bravehearts as General Manager, where he oversaw the team’s four league championship victories. He joined the Rumble Ponies organization in August 2025 as Assistant General Manager of Sales, where he focused on expanding the team’s sales initiatives and strengthening community ties.
The promotion marks a transition in leadership for the Binghamton franchise. Richard Tylicki, who previously held the General Manager position, departs after a lengthy tenure with the organization dating back to 1995. During his time with Binghamton baseball, Tylicki navigated the team through numerous organizational changes and transitions over more than three decades of service.
