Lucy Dacus is marking a major milestone by reissuing her debut album “No Burden” on its 10th anniversary. The reissue will arrive on December 4th, pressed on special seaglass vinyl, with preorders currently available to fans.
To celebrate the occasion, Dacus is unveiling a previously unreleased track titled “No Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye.” The song was recorded alongside producer Adrian Olsen and guitarist Alan Good Parker, featuring Parker’s distinctive fuzzed-out guitar work paired with Dacus’ emotionally charged vocals that explore themes of vulnerability and heartbreak.
Though new to official release, the track has circulated among devoted listeners as a hidden gem within Dacus’ fanbase, with the artist having performed it occasionally throughout her career. The reissue will also include standout tracks from the original album such as “I Don’t Wanna Be Funny Anymore” and “Strange Torpedo.”
The reissue announcement follows a productive period for Dacus, which included summer festival performances and touring across the United States. She continues to expand her musical output, having released “Forever Is a Feeling” last year and shared the Record Store Day exclusive “Planting Tomatoes” earlier this year.
