Bravo has announced two new cast members for the upcoming 16th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Actor and anti-Scientology activist Leah Remini will join the franchise as a full-time cast member, marking a significant addition to the long-running reality series. Real estate professional Tracy Tutor, previously featured on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” will also be joining the cast.
The new recruits will appear alongside returning full-time cast members Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Bozoma Saint John, Rachel Zoe, and Sutton Stracke. Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly are set to return in “friends of the cast” roles. Amanda Frances, who was added during Season 15, will not be continuing with the show.
Remini, 56, gained prominence through her role in the CBS series “King of Queens” and later became known for her activism work following her departure from Scientology. She authored a memoir detailing her experiences and co-hosted an award-winning docuseries on the subject. Tutor, 51, brings extensive experience in luxury real estate and television production to her new role, with the casting announcement receiving enthusiastic support from executive producer Andy Cohen.
Production on Season 16 is already underway in Los Angeles, with Remini scheduled to begin filming this week.
