Coleman also criticized the paparazzi presence that constantly pursued Panettiere throughout her life. He described photographers using high-powered telephoto lenses that could distort innocent moments into something sinister, and recounted an incident where paparazzi hid on his property to photograph her. Coleman characterized this behavior as predatory and expressed his anger over the treatment she endured during her formative years in the entertainment industry.
