The 78th Emmy Awards ceremony is shaping up to feature an impressive roster of presenters for Monday’s broadcast on NBC and Peacock. Matthew McConaughey and Shailene Woodley will take the stage alongside several cast members from Fox’s upcoming “Baywatch” reboot, according to the announcement of the expanded presenter lineup.
The full list of presenters includes established names such as Jamie Lee Curtis, John Mulaney, and Woody Harrelson, as well as rising stars like Awkwafina and Emma D’Arcy. Six of the presenters—Stephen Amell, Noah Beck, Jessica Belkin, Scott Caan, Hassie Harrison, and Brooks Nader—are part of the forthcoming “Baywatch” revival. Additionally, iconic television stars will appear to commemorate major anniversaries, with David Boreanaz and Sarah Michelle Gellar representing “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” on its 30th anniversary and Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd, and Jaclyn Smith marking 50 years of “Charlie’s Angels.”
Recent Emmy winner Shailene Woodley claimed her first competitive Emmy at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards earlier this month, taking home the guest actress in a drama series award for her performance in Hulu’s “Paradise.” Jamie Lee Curtis earned a nomination for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series for her work on FX’s “The Bear.” Mariska Hargitay will host the ceremony and serve as an executive producer alongside the production team from Jesse Collins Entertainment.
