Polaroid has announced a special collaboration with Pokémon, bringing together two beloved franchises in a new product lineup. The collection became available today, though customers must wait until August 25 to begin preordering items from the range.
The centerpiece of the offering consists of three instant cameras featuring Pokémon designs. The Polaroid Now Gen 3 is available in a Poké Ball design, while the Polaroid Go Gen 3 comes in either Pikachu or Sylveon variants. The Poké Ball model, which uses standard full-size Polaroid film with dual lens autofocus, retails for $139.99. The two Go Gen 3 options each cost $99.99.
Beyond cameras, the collection includes complementary products for enthusiasts. Pokémon-themed film frames feature various characters including Pikachu, Snorlax, Eevee, Topegi, Gengar, and Charmander. The Pokémon Edition Polaroid Color i-Type Film costs $22.99, while double packs of Pokémon Polaroid Go Color Film are priced at $24.99. Additional accessories include a protective camera case, a photo album, and a camera strap, all featuring Pokémon designs.
The collaboration targets fans of both the gaming franchise and the growing resurgence of analog photography. Interested consumers should mark their calendars for August 25 to secure their preorders through Polaroid’s official channels.
