Director Moshe Rosenthal’s “Tell Me Everything” is expanding its global reach following a triumphant awards season. The film, which serves as Israel’s official submission for the international feature category at the Academy Awards, secured widespread distribution across multiple territories. Distributors in France, Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia have acquired rights to the drama, while HBO CEE has obtained digital streaming access throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
The achievement represents significant momentum for the production, which earned 10 accolades at the Ophir Awards ceremony, including top honors for picture, director, and screenplay. The film garnered a record-setting 16 nominations at the Israeli awards ceremony. Since its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival’s World Cinema Dramatic Competition, the project has screened at approximately 30 international film festivals.
Set during the late 1980s amid both a cultural renaissance and the emerging AIDS crisis, the narrative centers on a young boy named Boaz who uncovers troubling information about his father, a revelation that destabilizes his family relationships and leaves lasting emotional scars into his adult years. The cast features newcomer Yair Mazor alongside Ido Tako, while comedy performer Assi Cohen demonstrates his dramatic range in a pivotal role, joined by Keren Tzur and additional supporting cast members.
Rosenthal’s previous directorial effort, “Karaoke,” achieved comparable critical success with 14 Ophir nominations and worldwide festival recognition, spawning remake projects in North America and Germany.
