Blackpink member Lisa has unveiled her latest solo offering, “SaWaDiKa,” marking her return to rap-focused material. The track title references a traditional Thai greeting, connecting to the artist’s heritage. Over production by Thom Bridges and songwriting contributions from Ojivolta, Lisa delivers confident bars accompanied by rhythmic drum patterns, declaring her star status with lines about luxury and fame.
The accompanying music video, shot in Bangkok and directed by Bang Jae Yeob, showcases Lisa in multiple eye-catching ensembles, including a crimson leather bodysuit and rhinestone-adorned shorts. The visual takes viewers through various recognizable Bangkok locations as Lisa commands each scene. The release represents her first solo single this year, following her May collaboration “Goals” with Anitta and Rema for the FIFA World Cup 2026 soundtrack.
“SaWaDiKa” serves as the lead single from Lisa’s forthcoming EP, Press Play, scheduled for release on October 23 through LLOUD Co./RCA Records. The release arrives during a particularly busy period for the artist, who will debut her documentary Always Lalisa on October 12 and launch a Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum beginning in November.
