When questioned about his potential involvement in the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday” project, Garfield maintained he is not part of the film, though he acknowledged his history of misleading statements regarding his appearance in “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” He added cryptically that audiences would learn the truth “one way or another.”
In “The Uprising,” directed by Paul Greengrass, Garfield portrays a fictional character leading a rebellion against King Richard II in 1381. The actor performed the majority of his own stunt work for the film’s action sequences, though he noted the physical toll of the demanding role, particularly on his knees.
