Francesca Moody Productions has announced the initial roster of performers who will join Tim Crouch in his London staging of “An Oak Tree” at The Other Palace. The production, running from October 7 through November 15, features a distinctive format in which Crouch performs opposite a different guest actor at each show, with none of the visiting performers receiving advance notice of the script or participating in rehearsals.
The announced guest performers include television and stage actors Sacha Dhawan, Gemma Whelan, Bessie Carter, Rosalie Craig, Hammed Animashaun, George Fouracres, Clare Perkins and Tom Mothersdale, each scheduled for individual performances throughout the run. The lineup showcases accomplished performers recognized for their work in major productions, from Craig’s recent BBC drama “Riot Women” and Olivier nomination, to Whelan’s recognition for “Game of Thrones,” and Dhawan’s involvement with Netflix’s “Extraction” and BBC’s “Doctor Who.”
“An Oak Tree,” which debuted in 2005, has become an internationally acclaimed theatrical work performed across more than 19 countries. The production has involved over 350 guest performers during its two-decade history, including notable talents such as Frances McDormand, Geoffrey Rush, Peter Dinklage, David Tennant and Jessie Buckley.
The London engagement represents part of a broader season at The Other Palace under Francesca Moody Productions, which runs through January 2027 and features additional productions that originated at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
