Following his World Cup triumph in July, 19-year-old soccer star Lamine Yamal has ventured into the fashion world with a new collaboration. The FC Barcelona athlete has partnered with American Eagle to debut his first exclusive clothing line, marking a significant expansion of their existing relationship that began when Yamal became the retailer’s inaugural global brand ambassador earlier this year.
The collection, which launched Thursday, comprises 29 pieces designed to reflect Yamal’s personal style preferences. Items include oversized and ultra-baggy denim, cargo pants, relaxed button-down shirts, and various workwear-inspired jackets. According to American Eagle’s Chief Marketing Officer, the goal was to capture both Yamal’s everyday aesthetic and current generational fashion trends among Gen Z consumers.
The capsule collection draws inspiration directly from Yamal’s own wardrobe and is now available for purchase on American Eagle’s website and at select retail locations across the United States. This collaboration represents the latest initiative in a multi-year partnership that has included marketing campaigns and limited-edition offerings. American Eagle previously celebrated Yamal’s World Cup success by temporarily rebranding itself and launching a special Times Square activation.
