Following an extended preview of Grand Theft Auto VI that aired on Netflix in August, anticipation for the game’s soundtrack continues to build. On Tuesday, several prominent musicians posted mysterious content to Instagram that appears to be connected to the highly anticipated release.
Artists including Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, and Future shared images that seemed to represent fragments of a larger artwork tied to GTA VI. Scott’s contribution featured high-heeled shoes positioned on a pole, while Future’s post displayed the rear portion of a luxury vehicle bearing a Vice City license plate. Wallen’s image showed a swimming pool rendered in Rockstar Games’ characteristic artistic style. Scott’s post notably included a tag referencing Rockstar Games directly.
The coordinated posts have sparked speculation about what role these musicians might play in the upcoming game. Industry observers suggest they could be featured on the game’s soundtrack, a tradition Rockstar has maintained with previous releases. Alternatively, some or all of these artists may appear as in-game characters or radio personalities, following precedent set by past inclusions such as Dr. Dre and Phil Collins.
Whether these artists contribute music, serve as voice talent, or both remain unclear. Nevertheless, the teaser campaign has generated significant buzz among fans and may appeal to new audiences interested in GTA VI’s entertainment value beyond gameplay alone.
