Gordon Bay Cottage, constructed in 1902, served as the exterior filming location for the main character’s lakeside home in the show. The property will open for three separate booking periods throughout October, with reservations beginning September 15 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
Potential visitors can reserve the waterfront Ontario cottage for October 2-5, October 9-12, or October 16-19 at a nightly rate of $180 Canadian dollars. Guests will receive exclusive access to the residence and its dock, along with amenities including a screened porch, fireplace and direct lake access for activities such as paddling. While the cottage’s exterior and waterfront scenes appear in the series, interior scenes were filmed on a soundstage in Toronto.
The listing represents part of Airbnb’s broader strategy of converting fictional television and film locations into experiential travel opportunities for fans. The cottage’s availability comes as the Muskoka region has experienced increased tourism interest following the show’s release. According to Airbnb data, international search inquiries for the area have climbed nearly 110 percent year-over-year, while domestic searches have increased more than 30 percent through November 2026.
