“Hacks” secured multiple comedy awards, earning the best comedy series trophy alongside accolades for Jean Smart, Hannah Einbinder, and director Lucia Aniello. Meanwhile, “Shrinking” garnered four awards across comedy categories, recognizing Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, and Michael J. Fox for their performances.
“Beef” dominated the limited series competition with five wins, including best limited series and acting awards for Oscar Isaac and Charles Melton. Director Lee Sung Jin also received recognition for his work on the series. Additional honors went to performers including Keri Russell, Macaulay Culkin, and Christina Ricci across various categories.
Nonfiction and variety programming also received recognition, with “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” winning for talk or variety series and “John Candy: I Like Me” taking the documentary TV movie award. An Astra Awards executive noted that the winners reflect television’s continued capacity to entertain and connect audiences through diverse storytelling approaches.
