Ananya Birla’s Birla Studios is collaborating with True Story Films, a company headed by Hansal Mehta and Sahil Saigal, as well as Singh’s own production banner Maa Kasam Films. Jai Mehta, who previously worked on acclaimed projects including a well-known web series about financial fraud, is directing the film. The cast also includes Kalyani Priyadarshan, whose breakout role came in 2025.
The narrative centers on human survival during a global catastrophe, with the story unfolding against Mumbai’s urban landscape.
