Studio TF1 is presenting its latest medical drama series at the Unifrace Rendez-Vous event currently underway in Le Havre. The production, titled “Dr. Seylan & Cindy,” centers on a Parisian neurosurgeon who returns to her hometown following her father’s death and assumes control of the local medical practice alongside an unconventional nurse character.
The six-episode series features performances from Natacha Lindinger and Alice Pol, with direction by Cathy Verney and Edouard Deluc. Production took place in the Drôme department within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France. Created by Camelia Acef and Mathilde Pol, the show blends medical procedural elements with comedy, following the protagonists as they navigate both patient cases and rural community dynamics.
Studio TF1 executives have expressed confidence in the series’ commercial potential, describing it as combining entertainment value with emotional warmth. The program is anticipated to attract audiences seeking accessible, feel-good programming. Beyond its launch at Unifrace, the series will also compete in the French programming category at the Festival de la Fiction de La Rochelle.
Production involved Itinéraire Productions in collaboration with TF1, with producers including Juliette Lassalle, Anthony Lancret, and Pierre Laugier. The creative team previously worked on projects including “HIP” and “Soleil Noir.”
