Stray Kids has achieved a significant milestone with their latest album release, marking their strongest commercial performance to date. The group’s new project “This & That” has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, accumulating 369,000 equivalent album units in its first week. The project generated particularly impressive traditional album sales, which accounted for 357,000 of the total units.
This chart-topping debut represents the band’s ninth number-one album on the Billboard 200, further solidifying their dominance in the music industry. The achievement places them among the most successful groups in chart history, tying them with the Rolling Stones for the second-highest number of chart-toppers among groups, behind only the Beatles’ 19 number-ones. The Korean group’s trajectory has been remarkable, with their first number-one arriving in 2022, followed by becoming the first act to debut their opening six releases atop the chart.
The album’s performance ranks among the year’s strongest releases, securing the sixth-largest sales week of 2026. However, it falls short of the record set earlier this year by BTS’s “Arirang,” which moved 532,000 traditional album sales upon its March debut. In the broader chart picture, Ariana Grande’s “Petal” moved to the second position in its second week, while several other major artists round out the top ten positions.
