Prime Video has announced an exclusive worldwide premiere of a new documentary series chronicling Spain’s recent World Cup victory. The four-episode docuseries will showcase the Spanish National Team’s path to their second World Cup title, culminating in a decisive 1-0 triumph over Argentina in New Jersey. The production is a collaborative effort between the Real Federación Española de Fútbol and Telefónica Broadcast Services.
The upcoming series will provide viewers with unprecedented access to the team’s journey, featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews with the players and coaching staff. The documentary will highlight key moments from the 52-day campaign, with particular focus on Ferran Torres’ extra-time goal that secured the championship. Beyond the game itself, the series aims to explore the bonds formed between the 26 players and coaches, examining both the lighter moments and the pressures they faced throughout the competition.
This marks the seventh collaboration between Prime Video and the Spanish football federation, further solidifying the streaming platform’s commitment to Spanish National Team content. The service will launch the docuseries before the end of the year.
