Netflix is launching a week-long wellness initiative across Los Angeles to promote its Emmy-nominated series “Beef.” Running from August 10 through 14, the free events are strategically timed just before the second phase of Emmy voting begins on August 17. The program, titled “Beef — Release Your Rage. Feel Your Calm,” offers Los Angeles residents an opportunity to experience relaxation and self-care activities inspired by the show’s themes of conflict and tension.
The streaming platform has partnered with multiple wellness venues throughout the city to provide complimentary services. Participating locations include massage facilities offering robotic treatments, skincare studios providing facial enhancements, juice bars serving specialty beverages, and meditation centers hosting sound baths. Each day of the week features different wellness offerings at various Los Angeles locations, with services available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies remain available.
“Beef” has emerged as the leading limited series at this year’s Emmy Awards, earning 16 total nominations. The show’s recognition includes nods for outstanding limited series and acting categories featuring Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Youn Yuh-jung, and Charles Melton. The series also received nominations for directing and writing. Registration details for the wellness events are available through the official Netflix awards website.
