Two reality television personalities are stepping behind the microphone as hosts for an upcoming competition series. Rob Rausch and Maura Higgins, known for their appearances on “The Traitors” and “Love Island,” will lead the new show “Get Me Out of Here” on Peacock. The program, produced by ITV America, is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
The format places celebrity contestants alongside non-famous companions in a challenging jungle environment stripped of modern conveniences. Participants face demanding physical and mental obstacles designed to test their survival skills and personal relationships. Teams must navigate the demanding conditions while their bonds are pushed to their limits, determining which stars can thrive without their typical privileges.
Rausch gained prominence as the sole winner of “The Traitors” Season 4 before finding additional success on “Love Island USA.” Higgins previously competed on the British version of “Love Island” and appeared on “Dancing With the Stars.” The competition culminates with the final surviving team claiming a $100,000 prize. The series is adapted from the international format “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” and is overseen by executive producers David George, David Eilenberg, and Jordana Hochman.
