Two actors from the recently released “Resident Evil Requiem” will take on hosting duties for a major gaming showcase this summer. Nick Apostolides and Angela Sant’Albano, who portray Leon S. Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft respectively in Capcom’s latest franchise installment, will lead the Future Games Show at gamescom on August 26.
The event, taking place in Cologne, Germany, will showcase more than 40 games across multiple platforms including Twitch, YouTube, and Steam. Attendees can expect world premieres and exclusive gameplay reveals, with titles such as “Tides of Annihilation,” “Onimusha: Way of the Sword,” and “No Law” among those featured. The main broadcast begins at 10 a.m. PT, followed by additional programming from other hosts.
Both actors expressed enthusiasm about their hosting roles, with Apostolides highlighting the diverse gaming experiences on display and Sant’Albano noting the mix of exclusive content planned for the presentation. Following the initial broadcast, viewers can tune in for supplementary coverage, including a gamescom floor showcase set to air on August 30.
