Green Day has unveiled a new 24/7 YouTube channel dedicated entirely to the band’s extensive catalog and archival material. The streaming platform, called Green Day TV, will operate continuously with music videos, concert footage, and over 100 hours of previously unreleased content sourced from the group’s vaults.
Beyond standard performance recordings, the channel will showcase restored VHS recordings, rare deep cuts, and other vintage material that may surprise longtime fans. The programming will also introduce viewers to previously unseen content that the band acknowledges might not have been intended for public consumption.
Original programming will complement the archival offerings, including a variety show called Transmission Unknown hosted by drummer Tre Cool. The show will spotlight emerging musical talent alongside interviews, comedy segments, and animated shorts. To maintain viewer engagement, Green Day TV will regularly feature trivia competitions, merchandise giveaways, and exclusive product drops throughout the broadcast schedule.
The launch coincides with the upcoming theatrical release of a Green Day film titled Nimrods: A Green Day Comedy, set to premiere in mid-August. The movie, directed by Lee Kirk, chronicles the band’s early years touring before achieving mainstream success with their landmark album.
