Running back Myles Gaskin ended his NFL career Wednesday evening with an announcement on social media. In his statement, Gaskin expressed his deep gratitude for his time in professional football, saying he would now focus on supporting younger players pursuing their dreams in the sport.
Gaskin’s final season was spent with the Seattle Seahawks, where he appeared in just one game. During that limited action, he carried the ball three times for six yards while also contributing on special teams coverage.
The veteran running back’s professional journey began when the Miami Dolphins selected him in the seventh round of the 2019 draft. He spent four seasons with the Dolphins before moving on to play for the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings.
Over his career, Gaskin appeared in 47 games with 17 starts. He accumulated 367 rushing attempts for 1,360 yards and seven touchdowns, while also catching 102 passes for 712 yards and six additional touchdowns.
