Quavo has announced his upcoming album “Qrömelife,” which is set to release on October 2. The project marks his third studio album since 2023’s “Rocket Power” and comes under the creative direction of Pharrell Williams, who serves as executive producer on the entire record.
To introduce the album, Quavo released a new single titled “Backwards” featuring a guest verse from fellow Atlanta rapper T.I. The track, which premiered during a live performance at WWE’s Sunday Night Main Event, emphasizes both artists’ shared hometown throughout its lyrics. It joins previously released previews “Haavin” and “Trance (Walk It Down)” as advance cuts from the forthcoming project.
The full album will contain a total of 14 songs, though the complete tracklist has not yet been disclosed. In recent interviews, Quavo praised Williams’ approach to music production, noting that the legendary producer encouraged him to maintain focus and structure while recording at unconventional locations including yachts and luxury brand headquarters. Quavo emphasized Williams’ commitment to traditional songwriting fundamentals, ensuring that each track prioritizes hooks and verse arrangements alongside creative flexibility.
