Beyond Fest is set to return to Los Angeles this fall with an expansive lineup featuring 81 feature films. The festival, running from September 23 through October 5, will showcase a diverse collection of titles ranging from contemporary works to rediscovered classics. Notable films on the schedule include “Primetime,” “Victorian Psycho,” and “Wicker,” with “Primetime” serving as the festival’s opening selection.
The event will draw several prominent figures from the entertainment industry. Director Robert Eggers is slated to present a retrospective screening of his films “The Witch,” “The Lighthouse,” “The Northman,” and “Nosferatu,” along with exclusive content from his forthcoming project “Werwulf.” Additional celebrity attendees include M. Night Shyamalan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dolph Lundgren, Danny DeVito, Al Pacino, and Fede Álvarez. The festival will also feature special presentations, including a 70mm screening of “Hoffa” with Danny DeVito and Mike Flanagan’s debut of his “Carrie” series adaptation.
Beyond Fest continues its mission to blend artistic cinema with genre entertainment, according to programming leadership. The festival will host screenings across multiple Los Angeles venues, including the Egyptian Theatre, the Mubi Theatre at the Aero, Directors Village, and the Mubi Theatre at the Los Feliz 3. The event is presented by Mubi in partnership with the American Cinematheque, offering audiences curated theatrical experiences throughout its two-week run.
