Disney+ has unveiled the first trailer for the third season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” set to debut on November 20. The preview showcases the adaptation of Rick Riordan’s “The Titan’s Curse,” with the protagonist experiencing troubling visions of an impending catastrophe. According to the official description, the season follows Percy’s mission to rescue his friend Annabeth after she falls into enemy hands, requiring him to undertake a dangerous expedition alongside unexpected allies.
The upcoming season features a returning cast that includes Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, and Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase. The ensemble also welcomes several new additions, with Dafne Keen portraying the goddess Artemis and established cast members Charlie Bushnell, Daniel Diemer, and Dior Goodjohn reprising their roles. Additional casting includes Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite and Ming-Na Wen as Hera among the newly introduced divine figures.
During San Diego Comic-Con in July, the show’s cast and production team presented an exclusive preview featuring action sequences. Scobell expressed enthusiasm about the season’s direction, suggesting this installment represents the most faithful translation of Riordan’s source material to screen yet. The series, developed by Jonathan E. Steinberg and produced in collaboration with the author himself, continues to expand its mythological universe across the streaming platform.
