Patrick Holland will continue leading Banijay U.K. as executive chairman and chief executive officer following the company’s completion of its merger with All3Media. Holland will report directly to Marco Bassetti, who serves as CEO of the newly formed Banijay Entertainment. The $8 billion transaction closed last month, creating a major production and distribution powerhouse headquartered in London.
The combined entity is equally owned by the Banijay Group and RedBird IMI, with Jeff Zucker as chairman and Bassetti overseeing daily operations. Jane Turton, formerly All3Media’s chief executive, has been appointed deputy CEO. Holland’s retention marks one of the first senior leadership confirmations since the merger’s completion, as industry observers closely watched for consolidation decisions regarding key executives across both organizations.
Holland assumed his role at Banijay U.K. in 2022 after a lengthy tenure at the BBC, where he served as director for factual, arts and classical music programming. Under his leadership at Banijay, he has championed various production projects and established the Banijay U.K. Growth investment fund in 2023. Moving forward, he will oversee a significantly expanded portfolio comprising approximately 40 production labels across the United Kingdom market.
Bassetti praised the appointment, emphasizing that maintaining regional leadership expertise remained central to the company’s strategic direction. Holland expressed enthusiasm about combining the creative talent from both organizations and unlocking growth opportunities within the integrated business structure.
